About Author

Joann Cowan is a proud mother of one stupendous son, Michael, and an amazing godson, Tristen. She has been married to her soulmate, Ernest—her loving and supportive husband—for almost thirty-one years.

Her natural love for reading to her son and later her godson sparked their imaginations and strengthened their early literacy skills in reading and writing. That passion eventually inspired Joann to write her first children’s picture book, From A to Z: Where Could the Alphabet Be? It is the first in her Chloe’s Magical Adventures series, with many more titles to come.

Joann’s goal with her picture book is to help children recognize and identify the alphabet at an early age, all while enjoying fun, creative stories. Her activity books complement her stories by improving fine motor skills, encouraging focus, and nurturing creativity.

Beyond writing, Joann loves traveling the world with her wonderful husband, taking long walks, and relaxing with her favorite television shows. She is thankful for the people who continue to inspire her—and most grateful for all that Jesus Christ is and all He has done in her life.
